This is the first pilot certificate you will train for. It will allow you to fly an airplane and carry passengers while equally sharing the cost with your passengers. The total cost to get a Private Pilot certificate will vary with the individual as certain standards must be met regardless of the individual’s ability and the time it takes. The national average is 60-80 hours. The minimum average cost of flight school ranges from $8,000-$13,000 depending on how often the student flies.

The Private Pilot Course will include:

  • 40 hours in Piper Warrior II
  • Pre/Post Flight Ground Instruction
  • Course Materials
  • Computer Test Fee
  • Airplane Rental Cost
  • Check Ride Test Fee

After you accomplish getting your Private Pilot’s certificate you can fly your own plane, rent a plane and continue to pursue additional ratings and certificates with Alpha Air Center’s Flight School.

Lessons can be paid as you go and we accept all major credit cards, cash and checks. Financing available through Pilot Finance, Inc. & Arvest Bank.
